If MetaTrader is running slowly, there are few steps you can try to improve performance of the platform:
Close unnecessary charts and indicators:keep your workspace simple and reduce the number of open charts and used indicators.
Optimize chart timeframes:avoid using high time frame charts, especially long-term charts, without necessity.
Limit historical data:reduce the amount of historical data loaded. Select Tools > Options, where you can set the amount of historical data.
Update or reinstall software:make sure you are using the latest version of MetaTrader. If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Check network connection:an unstable network connection will cause the software to run slowly. Make sure the network connection is strong.
Adjust computer settings:close other unnecessary programs to free up computer resources.
Increase computer performance:if possible, consider upgrading your hardware, such as increasing the memory or using a faster SSD.
Use a VPS:if you do high-frequency trading, consider using a virtual private server (VPS), which can improve stability and speed.
