If MetaTrader is running slowly, there are few steps you can try to improve performance of the platform:
Close unnecessary charts and indicators：keep your workspace simple and reduce the number of open charts and used indicators.
Optimize chart timeframes：avoid using high time frame charts, especially long-term charts, without necessity.
Limit historical data：reduce the amount of historical data loaded. Select Tools > Options, where you can set the amount of historical data.
Update or reinstall software：make sure you are using the latest version of MetaTrader. If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Check network connection：an unstable network connection will cause the software to run slowly. Make sure the network connection is strong.
Adjust computer settings：close other unnecessary programs to free up computer resources.
Increase computer performance：if possible, consider upgrading your hardware, such as increasing the memory or using a faster SSD.
Use a VPS：if you do high-frequency trading, consider using a virtual private server (VPS), which can improve stability and speed.
