Why are my trades not closed after reaching Take Profit and Stop Loss?

Modified on Tue, 3 Dec, 2024 at 8:38 PM

If your trade is not closed when the Take Profit or Stop Loss is reached, there could be several reasons:

  1. Market price not touched:Take Profit and Stop Loss are executed based on market quotes (bid or ask). If the bid-ask spread in the market is large, it may happen that the price does not actually reach the set Take Profit or Stop Loss level.

  2. Order Type setting error:make sure you set your Take Profit and Stop Loss orders correctly. Sometimes traders may mistakenly select a Limit order or other type of pending orders.

  3. Volatility and illiquidity:if the market liquidity is insufficient, the take-profit or stop-loss order may not be executed in time.

It is recommended to carefully check your transaction type and settings. If you have any questions related to this topic, please contact the Customer Support for further assistance.
