How to display opening/closing prices on a chart in MetaTrader?

How to display the opening/closing price in MetaTrader:

Method 1: Use a horizontal line

1. Open the chart：open the chart you want to view on the MT4 platform.

2. Insert horizontal line：

   • Right-click on the chart and select ‘Horizontal Line’。

   • Click on the chart to place the horizontal line.

3. Set Prices：double-click the horizontal line to open the ‘Horizontal Line Properties’ window, where you can manually enter the opening or closing price.

Method 2: Use Order History

1. View transaction history:

   • Select the 'Account History' tab in the 'Terminal' window (usually at the bottom of the screen).

   • Find your open or closed order and double-click it to view its details, including the price.

2. Mark prices on the chart:

   • Repeat the above steps to insert horizontal lines to mark the price positions you are interested in.

Method 3: Use the ‘Trade’ window

1. Open the ‘Trade’ window:

   • You can view your current positions by selecting the ‘Trade’ tab in the ‘Terminal’ window.

2. Check the opening price：

   • In the ‘Trade’ tab you can see the opening price of each position.

3. Insert a horizontal line on a chart，as described in Method 1.
