How to add custom Expert Advisors or indicators in MT4?

To add a custom Expert Advisor (EA) or indicator to MT4, follow these steps:

1. Download EA or indicator files

Make sure you have obtained the file of your EA or indicator, usually in .ex4 (MT4) format.

2. Open the data folder

Open your MT4 platform.
Click File > Open Data Folder.

3. Find the corresponding folder

Go to the MQL4 folder and select the "Expert Advisors" folder (for EAs) or the "Indicators" folder (for indicators).

4. Copy files

Copy the downloaded EA or indicator file to the corresponding folder.

5. Refresh the platform

Close and restart MT4.
